On the 2nd of December 2017 a group of runners ran from the Murrumbidgee River, Darlington Point, through the town of Griffith, out to Lake Wyangan. Colloquially throughout Griffith they are simply referred to as “The River” and “The Lake”. The purpose of the run was to raise both funding and awareness for the issues the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund (JDRF). Visit the charity page if you wish to make a donation.
