2 December 2017

It was my pleasure to contribute even if only in a small way to the River2Lake run held on 2 December. The run was organised by Griffith-born and bred Henry Delves who teamed with best mate Fletcher Josling and others to raise $11,000 for juvenile diabetes research. The runners ran or walked from the Murrumbidgee River at Darlington Point, through the town of Griffith, out to Lake Wyanagan. He called it the River2Lake run – covering the 47km in five hours.

Initially I was only there to help with the PinnacleHPC/Bertoldos breakfast pit stop but decided to follow the runners and walkers out to the lake to be there when they crossed the finish line.
